## About

Interbrew took over the brewery at Blaj in April 1994, while it was still under construction, and launched Bergenbier there in May 1995. Bergenbier stopped brewing at Blaj from the last quarter of 2009 and gave up malt production in July 2010; on 6 August 2010 it announced that all production would be concentrated at its brewery in Ploiești.
