United Kingdom Founded in 1999 in Greenwich, south-east London, by the brewer Alastair Hook; it moved in 2010 to a site on Blackwall Lane with a £7 million German brewhouse of 120,000 hectolitres a year. SABMiller bought it in 2015 and Asahi in October 2016, as part of the sale forced by the AB InBev takeover. In March 2024 Asahi announced the closure of the Greenwich brewery and moved production to Fuller's at Chiswick; a brewpub, The Dial, opened in November 2025 near the old site.
