Brewery of the Mastra brand, started by the industrial engineer Wilfredo Camacho and an investor partner after a trip to Córdoba in September 2006; its first three ales (golden, red and black) reached the market in October 2007. In 2008 capacity was 100,000 litres a year, with 95% national malt from Maltería Oriental. The brand calls itself the first Uruguayan craft beer; its factory is now at Logipark in Las Piedras and it runs a pub, Chopería Mastra, in Pocitos. unverified info
