The Super Bock Group, as Unicer has been called since 10 November 2017, after its best-known beer; Super Bock was registered in 1927. It brews all its beer at Leça do Balio, Matosinhos. In December 2018 Carlsberg raised its holding, 44% direct and 28.5% of the controlling Viacer, to about 60%. Brands: Super Bock, Cristal, Super Bock Selecção, Coruja and Cheers, and Carlsberg and Somersby under licence; The Browers Company brewpub opened in Lisbon in 2019.
