## About

Albrau Onești started in 1992 and took over the tradition of Zimbru beer, documented since 1845; its water comes from the dam on the Uzului Valley in the Nemira mountains. It belongs to the businessman Vasile Ciobanu, who put almost EUR 20 million into modernizing the plant and brews private-label beers for retail chains (Bardenberger for Penny Market, Aro for Metro, Carrefour) besides Albrau and Dobru.
