## About

A family brewery by the weir where the rivers Brit and Asker meet in Bridport, Dorset, brewing on the same site since 1794; it describes its thatched Old Brewery as the only thatched brewery in Britain. It has used its own spring water since 1838 and an open copper installed in 1937, and the Palmer family bought it in the late 19th century. It also owns and lets pubs.
