Estrella Galicia do Brasil is the Brazilian arm of the Spanish group Hijos de Rivera, which has brewed Estrella Galicia in La Coruña since 1906. On 25 November 2021 the group announced a plant worth 2 billion reais in Araraquara, São Paulo, its first outside Spain, with 400 direct jobs and an expected start at the end of 2023. Its chief executive said the plant would also supply the neighbouring Mercosur countries. unverified info
