The oldest brewery of Lithuania, at the Šiauliai royal manor from 1665; Count Platon Zubov built its present buildings. AB Gubernija from 1922, merged with Ragutis in 1926, taken over by the Bank of Lithuania for debts in 1935. Burned in the war, brewing again from August 1944.
