A brewery at Kinlochleven, Lochaber, in a former coke bunker of the aluminium works, begun in 2002. It merged with the Orkney Brewery (2004 by the Brewery History Society), and Sinclair Breweries took the combined business in 2006. Atlas closed in 2010 and its beers, among them Nimbus Blonde, are brewed at Quoyloo in Orkney; the Kinlochleven plant was reopened in 2011 as River Leven Ales. unverified info
