## About

Founded in 1983 by Ken Brooker in a 200-year-old stone barn on a farm near Tillicoultry and Dollar, Clackmannanshire; it moved to Alva Industrial Estate in 2004. Caledonian Brewery bought it (2006 by Wikipedia, 2010 by another source) and in 2008, when Scottish & Newcastle took Caledonian over, a group of Caledonian directors bought it back. A holding company has controlled it since February 2023. Bitter & Twisted was Champion Beer of Britain in 2003; Old Engine Oil and Ola Dubh are its other beers.
