How it works
Brasserie Grain d'Orge is at Hombourg, in the Plombières area near the Belgian-Dutch-German border. According to Wikipedia, Benoît Johnen reopened his village café in 1997 and made it a micro-brewery for small batches; in 2000 an annex was built for equipment bought from the breweries La Magonnette and Ruwet, and the first brew there came in 2002. It made 750 hl in 2007, and in 2008 it moved to his family's farm, where the stables became the brewhouse. Its beers include Brice, the Aubel range (Blonde, Brune, Tripel) and 3 Schténg, a 6% Flemish-style old brown made for the restaurant in the tower at the tripoint. unverified info
