How it works
Craft brewery in the former mill house of the paper works Hunsfos Fabrikker in Vennesla, a quarter of an hour from Kristiansand. Hunsfos Bryggeri AS was formed on 5 November 2013 and, by Scan Magazine, set up in 2014 by beer enthusiasts; it has brewed in the mill house since 2016. Beers include Moipa, an IPA made with the chef Trond Moi, the seasonal Direktørens Skau (7.2 %, brewed on shoots of juniper, spruce, pine and bog myrtle), Direktørens Jul (top score in VG's Christmas beer test of 2018, bronze at the London Beer Competition in 2019) and the Liverpool-themed Liverbirds lager. It has a brewery shop, tours and tastings, and a hall for up to 700 guests. unverified info
