## About

Sake maker of Chigasaki, Kanagawa (Tensei), founded in 1872 (Meiji 5). Its Shonan Beer has been made since 1996, just after the loosening of the licence rules: an unfiltered, unheated beer with live yeast and a shelf life of only 120 days. Includes a Schwarzbier that won gold at the International Beer Competition in 2008.
