How it works
The Vena brewery at Farforovskaya street 1 in St Petersburg, built in 1875 to a design by F. B. Nagel. In 1934 it was one of the six big breweries passed to Glavpivo of the People's Commissariat of the Food Industry, and from 1971 it belonged to the Stepan Razin brewing association. Vena merged into Baltika (approved on 7 March 2006, one legal entity from 2007), and the former Vena plant in St Petersburg was closed in 2009. The site was bought in 2018 by the developer Setl Group for housing. unverified info
