A brewing company formed when the joint venture between Carlsberg UK (60 per cent) and Marston's (40 per cent) completed on 30 October 2020, in a deal worth £780 million. It took over Marston's breweries, with beers such as Pedigree, Banks's and Hobgoblin, and is based in Wolverhampton. In July 2024 Marston's sold its 40 per cent to Carlsberg and the company became wholly Carlsberg-owned. It has since closed Jennings in Cockermouth (October 2022), Wychwood in Witney (November 2023), Ringwood (January 2024) and Banks's in Wolverhampton (August 2025). unverified info
