## About

Founded in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, by Bill Witty (1988 by Wikipedia, 1991 by the owners' later press releases); it moved to Starbeck in 1992. His son Craig Witty ran it after 2007. Its Morocco Ale uses a 17th-century recipe from Levens Hall. Rooster's Brewing Co. of Harrogate bought it in March 2024; Daleside continues as a separate company, with production to move to Rooster's site at Hornbeam Park.
