The micro-brewery of the Zăganu beers at Măneciu-Ungureni, founded by Laurențiu Bănescu and Alexandru Geamănu, who bought the site of the closed Generis microbrewery (1996-2011) in 2013 for about EUR 250,000 and opened it on 1 October 2013. Master brewer Ileana Drăghici, formerly of Generis, brews unfiltered, unpasteurized beer there. A Zăganu bar opened in Bucharest in August 2017. unverified info
