Netherlands A craft brewery in Utrecht formed in 2016 by the merger of two small Utrecht breweries, RUIG Brouwerij and Brouwerij Rooie Dop, whose owners Bart-Jan Hoeijmakers and Mark Strooker joined forces. It was first established, with a tasting room and a vegan restaurant, in the CAB building, a municipal monument of 1947 on the west side of the city. A separate production brewery opened on an industrial estate in 2017. In January 2021 the pub in the CAB building was put out of use by smoke damage, and after a crowdfunding campaign a new brewpub opened in Utrecht-Overvecht. unverified info
