How it works
Started in 1998 by Bob Lawson, a former Joshua Tetley brewer, as a brewpub behind the Brewers Pride on Healey Road in Ossett, West Yorkshire; in 2005 it moved to Kings Yard, Low Mill Road. It bought the Rat Brewery in Huddersfield in 2004, the Riverhead Brewery in Marsden in 2006 and the Fernandes Brewery in Wakefield in 2007, and it runs a pub estate. Its beers include Yorkshire Blonde, Silver King and Excelsius, and Bob Lawson's son Jamie has led the company since 2005. unverified info
