Zimbabwe The Harare lager brewery of Delta Corporation's lager division, long known as National Breweries. Brewing in Salisbury began with the Salisbury Lager & Beer Company, whose foundation stone was laid in Cameroon Street on 30 August 1898; South African Breweries bought the local brewery about 1910-1911, Rhodesian Breweries was registered in 1946 and became Delta Corporation in 1978. The Southerton Brewery was opened on 2 February 1962 and got a new brewhouse and bottling hall in February 1993; upgrades there were due to add capacity in the third quarter of Delta's 2027 financial year.
