## About

Founders Brewery of Nelson, owned by Carol and John Duncan, whose family has brewed in the Nelson region since 1854, was put on the market in June 2012. Before Christmas 2012 Boundary Road Brewery of South Auckland bought the Founders brand for national distribution, and the Duncans stayed as owners and operators of the brewery and cafe.
