The Coca-Cola bottler of Trinidad and Tobago, at Macoya: Cannings Ltd. began in 1914 and took the Coca-Cola franchise in 1939; The Coca-Cola Company bought it in 1997 and renamed it Caribbean Bottlers Trinidad and Tobago Limited, and sold its shares to the CC1 Group of Puerto Rico in 2003. Seven lines make soft drinks, still beverages, energy drinks and ready-to-drink alcohol. Not a brewery in the beer sense.
