How it works
Brasserie du Clocher is in the former chapel du Piroy at Malonne, built in the late 19th century and unused since 2009, which Alex Vandurme and Jean Cheffert took over for one symbolic euro in 2015. Their beer Philomène is named after Saint Philomena, to whom the chapel was dedicated, and La Libre reported in 2019 that it is brewed only there and sold almost only in Malonne. The range includes Philomène Florale and the amber Philomène HoptimAle. unverified info
