How it works
A brewery at Castle Works in Hendomen, near Montgomery in Powys, started by the married couple Pam and Russ Honeyman, whose first brew was made on 29 January 2009. Its best-known beer is Hilltop, a 3.6% golden honey ale made with honey from a Powys supplier, which was a finalist for CAMRA's Champion Bottled Beer of Britain in 2016. In September 2024 the Shropshire entrepreneur Mike Harris bought a 51% stake in the company with plans to expand it. unverified info
