## About

Brouwerij Wilderen is in the protected Nicolaï farm at Wilderen in Sint-Truiden, where a farm brewery is dated to 1642 and a distillery was added in 1890. In 2007 Mike Janssen and Roniek Van Bree bought the neglected farm and installed a new brewery and distillery. In August 2011 they launched Wilderen Goud, the tripel Kanunnik, a genever, a gin and a beer-based eau-de-vie, and Kriek (2012), Cuvée Clarisse (2013) and a whisky (2014) followed. Fermentation capacity was raised to 670 hl in 2013.
