How it works
The Lacons name was revived in 2013 in a Victorian courtyard on Main Cross Road, Great Yarmouth, by Mick Carver of the drinks distributor JV Trading, who obtained the name from Anheuser-Busch InBev and the original yeast from the National Collection of Yeast Cultures; the first beers, Encore, Legacy and Affinity, were launched at festivals in May 2013. The original Lacons brewery was founded in 1760 and closed by Whitbread in 1968. unverified info
