Founded in 2007 by Arnaldo Baptista to revive the brewing of Coimbra, which became industrial in the 1920s with Companhia de Cervejas de Coimbra. It makes 15 beers (400,000 litres in 2019) and has a restaurant and a small museum of the city's brewing. From 2017 it brewed the old Coimbra brands Topázio and Onyx with Central de Cervejas and took them over in 2021; in 2026 a grape ale made with the winemaker Carlos Lucas won a World Beer Awards world title. unverified info
