## About

Brasil Kirin was the name of Schincariol, founded in 1939, after the Japanese Kirin bought it in 2011 and renamed it in November 2012. The company, then the second largest brewer in Brazil with its headquarters at Itu, made Schin, Glacial, Nobel, Devassa, Baden Baden and Eisenbahn. On 13 February 2017 Heineken announced the purchase of Brasil Kirin for 664 million euros.
