## About

Brasserie des Fagnes in Mariembourg, a district of Couvin, was opened in 1998 by Frédéric Adant, a great-grandson of two brewers (Victor Adant at Leval-Trahegnies and Constant Lauvaux at Couvin). He had launched his beer Super des Fagnes in 1994, and the brewery has a museum with the former Degauquier brewery of Chimay. Since 2017 all its beers carry the name Fagnes, with experimental brews sold as WAW, and it makes over 10,000 hl a year.
