Microbrewery in Groruddalen, Oslo, set up in 2014 by Anders Roede and Christian Salicath and named after St Hallvard, the patron saint of Oslo. One of the first Norwegian breweries financed by crowdfunding: about 500 co-owners, 450 of them through the crowdfunding. A Hungarian Agrometal brewhouse with a 2,800-litre kettle gave a capacity of half a million litres a year, and it also brewed contract beer for other breweries. Its beers were named after Oslo characters. The board filed for bankruptcy on 10 March 2022; Ølportalen reported in April 2022, from unnamed sources, that new owners had taken over the brewing. The old company was struck off the register on 16 September 2025. unverified info
