## About

Sake maker of Fushimi, Kyoto, founded in 1925 by Jirokuro Matsumoto, who left the family brewery of 1791. Kizakura Kappa Country, a showcase in the old brewery buildings, opened in 1995, the year one blog gives for the launch of Kyoto Bakushu, its beer. Beer and sake are made with Fushimi spring water; a new Fushimi-gura craft brewery was founded in 2016 and its first beers came out in May 2017.
