How it works
Began in 2000 on a 4.5-barrel plant at South Houghton Farm, Heddon-on-the-Wall, Northumberland, founded by John Boyle and Robin Leighton; Dave Stone and Rob Cameron bought in in 2010. In 2016 (opened 27 May) it moved to the Palace of Arts in Exhibition Park, Newcastle, the last building of the 1929 North East Coast Exhibition, with a 30-barrel plant and a tap room. Jakehead IPA is one of its beers. unverified info
