## About

Yvan De Baets and Bernard Leboucq met in May 2002 at the Zinneke parade, for which Leboucq had made the beer Zinnebir. They began brewing professionally at the end of 2003 as the Sint-Pieter Brouwerij in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw, then renamed it Brasserie de la Senne and brewed for five years at friends' breweries (De Ranke and Proef among them). Their first brew in Brussels was on 22 December 2010, in a former bakery near Tour & Taxis. About 1,800 hl a year are made, and the beers are neither filtered nor pasteurised; they include Zinnebir and Stouterik.
