## About

La Binchoise stands on the site where André Joseph Pourbaix got leave in 1836 to open a brewery on the Samme river, and Jules Paternotte bought it in 1871. Brewing had stopped when André Graux, a home brewer, restarted it in 1986 and sold his first beers, La Fakir and the Réserve de Marie de Hongrie, in 1987. Four partners led by the brewer Bruno Deghorain bought the company in 2001, and after 2010 the site could make 10,000 hl a year. The best known beers are Bière des Ours, the Binchoise Blonde and Brune and the Spéciale Noël.
