back Brouwerij De Hoorn

Country: be Belgium

Brouwerij De Hoorn is the old name of the Palm brewery at Steenhuffel. A deed of 1747 mentions two breweries in the village, De Hoorn and De Valck, and the farm Den Hoorn was bought by Andries Van Doorselaer in 1706. Arthur Van Roy took it over by marriage in 1908, the beer was named Spéciale Palm in 1929, and in 1975 the brewery was renamed Palm. De Hoorn is now also the name of the craft-beer side of Palm, which brews Cornet. The main row of Palm is #1313. unverified info
