How it works
Browar Lubicz in Kraków (ul. Lubicz 15-17) has its roots in 1840, when the Swiss brewer Rudolf Jenny founded a brewery in the Wesoła district; in November 1903 it was bought by the industrialist and brewer Jan Albin Götz of Okocim. After nationalisation it was run by Okocim from 1968, and the brewing was closed in 2001 after Carlsberg took over Okocim. The buildings were converted into flats and offices, and in September 2014 a company called Browar Lubicz was reported to plan a restaurant brewery in the former malt house at Lubicz 17J. unverified info
