United Romanian Breweries Bereprod (URBB, also called Tuborg Romania) brews Tuborg, Carlsberg, Holsten and Skol at its brewery in Pantelimon near Bucharest. Carlsberg came in during 1998 with an indirect stake of 15.5% and helped build a brewery of 500,000 hl, whose capacity was later raised to 2.1 million hl. Carlsberg had raised its share to 23% when it sold it to its Israeli partner Central Bottling Company (CBC) on 8 February 2017. unverified info
