How it works
Launched in 2005 by the Otley family of Pontypridd, South Wales, on an industrial estate with a five-barrel plant bought from Moor Beer of Somerset; Nick Otley, who owned the Bunch of Grapes pub, was its managing director and his cousin Charlie its head brewer. O1 was its first ale and it was Champion Beer of Wales in 2006. Wikipedia says it was put up for sale in October 2016 and ceased trading in February 2018 (single source). unverified info
