How it works
The brewery at Tenczynek near Krzeszowice (Małopolskie) is mentioned before 1553, when it belonged to the Tęczyński estate. The present building was put up in 1848-1854 by Count Adam Potocki of Krzeszowice together with a distillery, and its beer won a gold medal at the Pilsen exhibition in 1904. After the Second World War it was rebuilt but made fruit and vegetables instead of beer. Browary Regionalne Jakubiak bought it on 14 May 2014 and restarted brewing in 2015; from 2018 it belonged to Manufaktura Piwa, Wódki i Wina S.A., which a court declared bankrupt on 11 December 2024. unverified info
