## About

The brewery of Kyodo Shoji, a vegetable trader of Kawagoe, Saitama, founded in 1982; it opened in April 1996 (beer licence 1997) and made a sweet-potato beer, later Beniaka. The brand was renamed COEDO in 2006 after Koedo, the nickname of Kawagoe. Brewing has been at Higashimatsuyama since 2016; the Kawagoe site became a restaurant.
