United Kingdom Founded in 1990 by Brian Rides and Ray Penny in the former cooperage of Arnold, Perrett & Co. at Wickwar, South Gloucestershire; the first beer was Brand Oak Bitter (BOB). A 50-barrel brewhouse in the old Arnold, Perrett brewhouse came in 2004, and in 2017 it bought Mole's Brewery and its pubs. Brewing ceased in 2020 (the closure was announced in 2021) to concentrate on the pubs, with its beers contract-brewed. unverified info
