## About

Began in the cellar of the Cock Tavern on Mare Street, Hackney, east London, reopened in 2012 by Pete Holt of the Southampton Arms, with a 6.5-hectolitre house brewery; the first beer was sold under the name on 24 July 2012. In June 2015 brewing moved to a former glassworks in Queens Yard, Hackney Wick, the UK's first 'tank bar', serving beer from ten 1,200-litre tanks.
