## About

Abbaye d'Aulne is the beer brand of the ruined Cistercian abbey of Aulne near Gozée, brewed on the abbey site in 1998 and sold by Jacques Wauthy's firm after he bought it from Leveau in 1994. A Spanish group, Frutapac, took over in 2013 and had the beers brewed elsewhere. All brewing came back in 2019 to the new Brasserie du Val de Sambre at Thuin, which is row #3269, and La Libre writes that the brands belong to a separate company since the brewery's bankruptcy in April 2026.
