## About

Founded in 2014 by Charlie Shaw and Sam McMeekin, with Simon Wood as head brewer, in a unit on Hamilton Road, Gipsy Hill, south-east London; the first beer was sold in July 2014 and a 60-hectolitre brewhouse came in 2017. It became London's first employee-owned brewery in April 2021, and in October 2025 moved most of its brewing to the Curious Brewery in Ashford because of rising overheads. Beatnik and Southpaw are among its beers.
