## About

This row is a drinks group, not a single brewery. John Martin came from Newmarket in England to Antwerp in 1909 and opened an import business; his grandson Anthony Martin led the family firm in 2016. The group bought the Timmermans lambic brewery at Itterbeek in 1993, and it markets John Martin's, Martin's Pale Ale, the Waterloo beers and the Maredret range made with the Sisters of Maredret. It also had a brewery built in Bruges to brew Bourgogne des Flandres again. The John Martin row is #1219 and Timmermans is #3178.
