Japan Founded in 2000 by Bryan Baird of Ohio and his wife Sayuri, who opened the Fishmarket Taproom at Numazu, Shizuoka; the licence and the first sales came in January 2001, on a 30-litre system, the smallest licensed brewery in Japan then. A 250-litre and by 2005 a 1,000-litre brewhouse followed. In 2014 the brewing moved to Shuzenji on the Izu Peninsula; the Numazu taproom was kept. unverified info
