## About

Brasserie de Brunehaut at Rongy, Hainaut, was founded in 1890, and in 1990 it built a new fermentation house two kilometres from the original site. A change of ownership in 2006 widened its export business, and in February 2021 it was certified as the first B Corp brewery in the European Union. It is known for organic and gluten-free beers and the Abbaye de Saint-Martin range, and the brewery says that its recipes come from an abbey in Tournai, which no source I read confirms. In 2023 it merged with Léopold 7 and Belgo Sapiens, and L'Avenir reported on 2 April 2025 that the company was bankrupt.
