Founded by Jonny and Tuggy Delap, who came back to Glen Fyne in 2000 to turn a disused dairy on the family farm into a brewery; the first Fyne beers were brewed on St Andrew's Day (30 November) 2001. It lies on the Achadunan estate at the head of Loch Fyne, near Cairndow. Jarl, first brewed in June 2010 for its first beer festival, was the first Citra beer brewed in Scotland.
