Netherlands Founded on 18 August 2010 by Arjanneke van den Berg, Paulien Hassink, Gijs Troost and Marcel Verhaaf. At first the beers were brewed in the kettles of other breweries (Hohmanns, Mommeriete, Anders!, De Molen and Jopen); the first own beers, Gooisch Blond and Gooisch Zwart, were launched on 12 May 2012. Its own brewery opened in May 2017 on the Marktplein in Hilversum, in a listed car showroom of 1912 that was later the Euro cinema. Buckwheat, once grown on the Gooi common land, is the local signature of the beers. unverified info
