Founded by a local businessman and opened on 26 August 2006 at Bargen (Bern). Output grew from 1,600 hl in the first year to about 6,300 hl in 2019 on a 20 hl brewhouse. About a quarter of it was contract brewing for other labels, among them Goldküstenbräu and Oberländerbräu (until 2012), Lozärner Bier (until 2018), Fischerstube's Ueli Winterbogg and the Falkenbräu Festbier.
